Our highly successful Onshore Renewables team, having operated under the ABL banner since 2021, is now an important part of OWC’s global platform. OWC, The Renewable Energy Consultants, collectively offers services to clients in all renewable technologies and markets, including onshore wind, solar, energy storage and hydrogen, as well as offshore wind, floating PV and wave and tidal technology. By aligning our Onshore team under the OWC brand, we are able to fully harmonise our services and offer comprehensive support to clients across any onshore or offshore needs.

Richard Abrams
Head of Onshore Renewables
Rich has worked in renewables for 18 years and is responsible for onshore wind, solar and energy storage technologies.
Guy Willamson
Head of Solar
Guy is the Head of Solar for OWC and has over 10 years of experience advising clients on PV projects, throughout all phases of the project lifecycle from initial feasibility through to operational monitoring.
Lee Smith
Head of Renewables for Sub-Saharan Africa
Lee has worked in renewables for over 12 years, mostly in consulting roles, including Lender’s Technical Advisory and Owner’s Engineering mostly focused on solar PV and wind projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Carol Murphy
Head of Independent Engineering (Onshore)
Carol has over 12 years of experience as a technical consultant in solar PV, with a focus on Independent Engineering. She has provided technical advice to a range of clients, in the UK, Europe and globally, particularly on large-scale ground-mount solar.
Oliver Davies
Head of Onshore Wind
Oliver has worked in renewables since 2008 and is a technical leader in the field of renewable analytics, including resource and yield assessment, with broad experience across the full lifecycle of projects.
Aimee Besant
Head of Energy Storage
Aimee is a Principal Consultant and Energy Storage Lead with a strong track record of energy storage projects in both Owner’s Engineering and technical due diligence.
