About

Sean holds the role of Principal Engineering Geoscientist and oversees the development of ground models and geoscience desktop studies. He is a Chartered Geologist with a focus on the energy sector, but draws on a broad background of onshore and offshore geoscience consulting experience. With an eye for detail and an aptitude for clear communication, Sean bridges the gap between geology and engineering.

With practical experience in data collection, integrated interpretation, and analysis, Sean also strives to maximise the value of desk-based reconnaissance work and uses the results to guide and explain site-specific data analysis. He has authored technical literature and given presentations about ground models at local, national, and international conferences. Sean is proficient in practical project management including management of subcontractors and other consultants, with dedication to QHSE.

Sean also brings significant experience in providing expert services for international arbitration proceedings related to internationally significant infrastructure. This includes the analysis of ground investigation and construction records to assess the severity and foreseeability of adverse ground conditions encountered during construction.
