About

Lara is the Director of Environment and Consents at OWC and has over 15 years’ experience in EIA, environmental permitting and planning, working across offshore wind, onshore renewables and major infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining OWC, Lara led the Marine CPD Consent Team at ERM providing project management, EIA and specialist marine consenting advise to offshore wind and marine renewable developers across the UK and Europe. Previous to that Lara headed up the Consent Team at MarineSpace where she specialised in project managing a range of site selection, early feasibility and EIA projects for floating and fixed-bottom offshore wind projects. Lara began her career in a regulatory role acting as the ecological lead for EIA review, marine licencing and Habitats Regulations Assessment across onshore wind farms, port, major infrastructure and marine energy projects.

Lara has worked across a range of innovative marine renewable and offshore projects, managing multidisciplinary teams deliver both offshore and onshore scopes. Within OWC she is responsible for environmental, permitting and EIA interface services.
