About
Juan is an Industrial Engineer specialising in Energy Systems and Technologies. Juan leads OWC’s work in offshore wind bid advisory, site selection and cost engineering activities. He joined OWC in 2018, originally in the London office, and then transferred to Seoul in 2022. Juan was awarded OWC’s “The Ian Bonnon Award” in 2021 as best young talent in the company.
Since joining OWC, Juan has taken strategic roles advising clients in offshore wind auctions in the UK, Norway, Japan, the US and the Netherlands, among other markets. He has also led cost engineering studies for offshore wind developers and investors and cost reviews in major Technical Due Diligence assignments worldwide. He has also advised governments and multilaterals aiming to launch offshore wind in new markets. Juan is commercially astute and creative and has a holistic view of offshore wind projects and the energy system.
Juan worked previously modelling energy markets for a major UK energy company.
