Innosea – part of OWC – has provided technical due diligence for the potential development of multiple floating solar PV sites on hydropower plant reservoirs.

Our scope of work

Work package 1: Review of all site conditions, risks, potential and development priorities, including:

  • Red flag assessments – preliminary technical review of the available studies and existing data (site conditions, HPP restrictions and operations, social and fauna/flora constraints, permitting)
  • Review of the grid connection availability
  • Site visits
  • Site selection based on a multi-criterion assessment
  • Development of strategy recommendation and studies priorities

Work package 2: Final technical due diligence:

  • Site conditions and site studies
  • Project preliminary design
  • Transmission and interconnection
  • Solar resource and energy yield assessment
  • Approvals and permits
  • Risk identification and mitigation measures
  • CAPEX / OPEX estimation
