About
Ana is Country Manager at OWC Spain and works as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at OWC globally. With five years of experience working in OWC, Ana has been involved in offshore wind farm projects in Europe, Asia, America and Australia and currently has a specific focus on the Spanish market.
Ana’s experience is mostly related to geosciences package management, as well as supporting the geotechnical team by carrying out pile driveability analyses, early-stage foundation design for offshore wind turbines, geotechnical desktop studies, and site selections for offshore wind farms based on the ground conditions.
Ana’s most recent projects include managing the geosciences survey procurement for three floating offshore wind farms in Scotland, drafting geosciences survey strategies for different projects across the globe based on country-specific regulations and carrying out concept-level design for offshore wind turbine foundations (fixed and floating). Ana’s detailed knowledge of ground risk and strategies for offshore wind developments is therefore used in the active planning of projects, package management and project feasibility assessments.
