OWC introduces new Contracts and Claims team
OWC is proud to announce the appointment of Graham Cowley as Senior Consultant leading the brand-new Contracts & Claims Team, from 1st November 2022.
Graham will oversee and drive the development of OWC’s services in this area, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge from over 45 years of practice.
Before joining OWC, Graham spent time working in the construction and power industries worldwide, with specific experience as a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager and Claims Specialist on major projects in the Middle East, APAC and Europe. He has worked with foreign entities to develop Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Asia and has a background in conducting workshops and seminars for the ‘future learning and development’ of colleagues.
Graham’s areas of expertise include ADR in contracts, and the management of teams to carry out a cradle-to-grave approach to work – whether that commences on client instruction at pre-contract invitation stage including ITT’s, procurement, evaluation, selection and appointment, or in a post-contract monitoring and expert advice phase, including contracts administration, contracts management and the resolution of claims or disputes.
Graham’s wind energy experience covers an appointment as Head of Contracts Management for Innogy and work on a number of high-profile offshore wind farms in the UK, Ireland, USA, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
“We’re delighted that Graham has joined OWC – his extensive experience will be invaluable to our clients and in training our more junior staff which is a key area of focus for OWC.”
Katherine Phillips, Managing Director, OWC
