Rémy Pascal, our Service Line Lead for Metocean, and Bernardo Kahn, Senior Offshore Renewable Energy Engineer, will be lending their expert insights to two expert presentations:
- Session 1: Wave Resource Characterisation 1 | 8th of September, 14:00
Rémy and Bernardo will present their paper: “Automated WEC Metocean Design Basis from ResourceCode Data”, highlighting how OWC applies automation to metocean analysis to deliver faster, more reliable inputs for WEC design – an approach that can also be applied to any marine renewable energy system! This work forms part of the EU- and Innovate UK-funded WEDUSEA project, developing a full-scale wave energy prototype at the EMEC test site in Scotland.
