Nils Falkenhorst

Nils joined OWC as the Country Manager Germany in July 2022 and has more than 6 years of renewable energy project management and business development experience. He has worked previously at EnBW within the business unit for portfolio development offshore wind. Nils led the Greenfield Hub for the developer’s European offshore wind business and is experienced in early project development as well as M&A processes. He is therefore well experienced in market research, market entries, site selection, regulation analysis and preparation of site application documents as well as preparation of transaction documents, technical due diligence and deal negotiation. During this time, he was also responsible for the integration of additional technologies like hydrogen into offshore wind.

Nils is an ambitious project director experienced in leading international project teams and creating new business opportunities with an understanding of team members’ and external parties’ needs.
