Position: Senior Technical Due Diligence Consultant

Office: Taipei, Taiwan

Hobbies Outside of Work: Exploring Taiwanese culture and learning Chinese.

Can you give us a glimpse into your day-to-day life at OWC?

I primarily work on Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and Lenders’ Technical Advisory (LTA) for offshore wind projects at all stages of development.

My day-to-day involves working with developers, lenders, and investors, and managing assignments across all phases of offshore wind. I collaborate closely with a team of international experts to deliver high-quality technical and commercial deliverables for our clients.

What inspired you to join your profession?

I have always been fascinated by renewable energy and electricity from a young age, which led me to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. The opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future and work on cutting-edge technologies like offshore wind was a major motivation for entering this field. Beyond the technical and commercial challenges, I was driven by the chance to make a tangible impact on global decarbonisation efforts and help accelerate the transition to clean energy. The dynamic nature of the offshore wind industry, with overlapping challenges in engineering, finance, environmental, and political domains, continues to fuel my passion for this work.

Can you share with us something exciting you are currently working on?

I am currently supporting a confidential vendor due diligence transaction involving a portfolio of offshore wind assets. This includes detailed technical and commercial analysis, as well as project management across multiple stakeholders to ensure a smooth transaction process. The complexity and strategic importance of the work make it both challenging and rewarding.

Looking ahead, what do you think is key to driving sustainability in your region?

Driving sustainability in offshore wind demands more than public commitments, it requires governments and corporations to embed decarbonisation goals into enforceable policy, operational frameworks, and capital allocation. Once targets are set, they must be consistently implemented and monitored to ensure real progress, and must be adjusted as needed to reflect evolving market conditions. This is especially critical now, given persistent supply chain bottlenecks, elevated financing costs, and the need for stable political support.

Besides work, what do you enjoy most working within the ABL Group?

I enjoy the inclusive and collaborative culture within ABL Group, where colleagues from diverse backgrounds share knowledge and support each other. Social activities and informal catch-ups help build strong professional relationships. We have had memorable experiences, such as a team-building trip to Vietnam, and regularly organize group dinners and activities that keep the team connected and foster a strong sense of community.

Finally, why should people come to chat with OWC at this year’s Energy Taiwan?

Because we bring world-class technical and commercial experts who support your organisation across the entire renewable energy value chain. Whether you are a developer, investor, supply chain partner, or policymaker, we provide end-to-end support (from early-stage development through to execution) to help you de-risk and deliver.
