Give us a glimpse into your day-to-day life at OWC. What keeps you on your toes?

Since joining OWC in September 2025, life has been fast-paced and incredibly rewarding. I started by shaping our Asset Management business strategy and building tools to deliver real value for our clients. By day three, I was already meeting clients and that momentum hasn’t slowed down.
From ongoing meetings across the UK, Denmark, Norway, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan to leading global teams on major scope bids now in progress – every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
One highlight has been teaching Asset Management and lessons from O&M in Taiwan, helping to inspire and equip the next generation of industry leaders.

I have also been recently appointed to the RenewableUK Late Life and Decommissioning Working Group and look forward to collaborating with the appointed industry leaders throughout 2026/2027.
What keeps me on my toes? The sheer variety day-to-day – including strategic planning, client engagement, global collaboration, and knowledge sharing all in a sector that’s evolving at lightning speed despite the perception of a market slow down.
What drew you to the industry and what keeps you passionate about it?

This year marks my 25th year in the UK and the energy industry with my first offshore role supporting in the consenting of the London Array Wind Farm and its onshore substation as a consultant.
When I look back, it’s incredible to see how far I have travelled and where as an industry we have developed – especially in offshore wind. What started as a niche technology has grown into a global industry driving real change.
Growing up in Australia, surrounded by nature, I always knew I wanted to do something to protect the planet, and that passion led me here.
My hope is that this is the year for Australia to undertake the first auctions.
What keeps me passionate after two decades? The people and the purpose. Despite the current challenges in global markets, I’m confident this industry will continue to move forward with the same holistic vision – thinking collectively about sustainability, innovation, and the next generation. That sense of progress and shared responsibility is what inspires me every single day.
Can you tell us about something exciting you are working on right now?
The start of the year has brought a renewed confidence across the market, and we are actively engaged in a number of live projects while exploring new opportunities that align with our strategic objective.
In addition to this, I am preparing for an upcoming classroom session on Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance, where I will be delivering insights and best practices to support capability development within the industry.
With AR7 results just announced, and AR8 ahead – why is an advanced plan in asset management so important to the UK offshore wind industry? What challenges are we encountering in O&M?
An advanced asset management strategy is critical as the UK offshore wind sector accelerates under AR7 and prepares for AR8. These allocation rounds are driving unprecedented growth, but they also introduce complexity: larger projects, tighter margins, resource & material constraints and heightened performance expectations. A proactive approach ensures assets deliver maximum availability and reliability throughout their lifecycle, safeguarding investor confidence and meeting contractual obligations.
The challenges in Operations & Maintenance are equally significant. We are seeing increasing pressure from aging fleets, supply chain constraints for major components, and the need to integrate digital solutions for predictive maintenance. Workforce capability and safety remain paramount, particularly as projects move further offshore and into harsher environments. In new markets, assets are quickly coming out of warranty. Working with the OEM and planning early for handover is essential. This starts before the site is even built in.
Addressing these challenges requires a combination of robust planning, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration across the value chain.
Beyond the work, what makes you tick outside of the office?
Short answer Family. Seeing my daughters grow into confident, capable young women is my greatest joy. Every day I see qualities in them curiosity, resilience and empathy, this will make them great leaders of the future in whatever paths they choose. They’re my biggest motivation to keep pushing my limits.
