Hobbies Outside of Work: I enjoy sports (swimming, stand-up paddle, basketball), especially when I can do them with my family and friends!

Can you give us a glimpse into your day-to-day life at OWC?

Every day brings something new, as the work I support for our clients and colleagues varies greatly, which makes for a dynamic and exciting routine!

One constant I strive to maintain is staying closely connected with our clients – whether in formal meetings or informal conversations – to ensure I fully understand their needs and identify where we can deliver the most value.

What inspired you to join your profession?

From my early university years, I knew I wanted to work in the renewable energy sector as a way to contribute to a more sustainable future. During my master’s thesis, I had the opportunity to dive deeper into offshore wind technologies and discover their immense potential. That experience inspired me to start – and continue – my career in this exciting field!

Can you share with us something exciting you are currently working on?

One aspect I truly enjoy about my work is the opportunity to support projects and clients across the globe. Currently, I’m collaborating with our colleagues in South Korea on a technical due diligence for one of their clients. This experience not only deepens my understanding of local requirements but also gives me valuable insights into the wind turbine technology offered by a local supplier.

Looking ahead, what do you think is key to driving sustainability in your region?

Looking at the global offshore wind industry, I believe we are in a transition phase where patience and resilience are essential to sustain the significant growth achieved over the past 15 years. From my base in Greece, I’m closely following the emerging offshore wind market here. For this market to thrive, we need support frameworks that reflect real market conditions and pave the way for a successful auction in the near future.

Besides work, what do you enjoy most working within the ABL Group?

The highly international environment that ABL offers is something I really appreciate being a part of! Interacting  with colleagues from different countries and cultures, both at work and outside of it, and engaging with diverse perspectives and ways of thinking is something I find very rewarding!
