About
Pierrick is an offshore structural engineer with ten years of experience in the marine industry and the Oil & Gas industry. For five years at Bureau Veritas, Pierrick supervised the certification of the structural design of commercial vessels and large oil and gas projects (FPSO) with complex interfaces, from concept design to installation.
Since joining INNOSEA, he has specialized in structural engineering for marine renewable energy projects. In particular, Pierrick has been involved in fixed and floating offshore wind turbine foundation projects, including jacket and monopile design through integrated design methods. He also spent 1.5 years as an external consultant at General Electric as Tower Design Lead Engineer, in charge of design and procurement of WTG tower for Saint-Nazaire OWF projects.
Pierrick is highly skilled in Finite Elements Method: beam/shell/solid model, yielding, buckling and fatigue calculations, non-linear analysis, code checking, hydrodynamic loadings computation, and has a thorough knowledge of international norms and standards for offshore structure design.
He is currently Technical Lead of the Structural Engineering team based in Nantes.
