About
Christian Apeah is heading OWC’s Independent Engineering department, being overall responsible for OWC’s support in M&A and financing activities in form of technical due diligence (TDD) and lenders technical advisory (LTA) services. Being active in the wind industry since 2008, he has a wealth of experience, having worked on a number of large-scale on- and offshore wind fam (OWF) projects in various positions worldwide.
Prior to joining OWC, Christian has been working for Vattenfall leading and directing its offshore wind interface management team, supporting all Vattenfall’s OWFs under development and construction by that time. In addition, Christian led the technical advisory activities of his and the wider engineering department to prepare Vattenfall for future financial partners in its OWF projects. Before that, Christian led Wood plc. offshore wind team in Hamburg and has been working as LTA and principal consultant on several assignments. With DNV he worked as surveyor and consultant on WTG technology and major OWFs.
