About
Alan is the Director Major Projects with OWC. Alan has worked in the renewables industry for 20 years, holding various engineering and senior management positions across a range of OEM and consultancy organisations. Renewable sector experience includes fixed and floating offshore wind, onshore wind, solar and battery storage.
Alan is experienced in both undertaking and leading multi-disciplined teams providing a range of owner’s engineer, independent technical advisor, due diligence and project management services. This has included feasibility studies, pre-FEED, FEED, technical specifications, tendering and contract negotiations, design review and independent analysis. Alan is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
