OWC to Chair 2nd day at Taiwan Offshore Wind Energy Summit

The Taiwan Offshore Wind Energy Summit 2018 (TOWES18) is being held just a couple of weeks after 11 projects were approved, firing the ‘starting gun’ in the exciting and ambitious Taiwanese offshore wind sector.

With experienced and inexperienced project developers in the mix, challenging demands driven by the necessity to balance experienced and in-experienced engineers and project managers in project teams and bringing together an immature supply chain; collaboration and knowledge transfer will be vital for success.

Offshore Wind Consultant’s (OWC) Will Cleverly will help chair the 2nd day at the TOWES18 event in Taipei and deliver the closing remarks. Will is a director of OWC and has ten years’ experience as a project manager and geotechnical engineer in the offshore wind industry and has been involved in the design of hundreds of offshore wind foundations and many projects.

TOWES18 is being held at the Caesar Metro Hotel in Taipei on the 15th and 16th of May.
