OWC hires new engineering manager

Katherine Phillips12 February 2018 – Offshore Wind Consultants Limited (OWC) has appointed Katherine Phillips as the consultancy firm’s new engineering manager.

Katherine joins OWC’s management team and will lead the development of the engineering capability.

She joins OWC from Atkins, where she was group lead and head of its 55 people strong energy arm. She has been involved with numerous offshore wind projects since 2010, and was named one of the 50 most influential female engineers in the WE50 list published by WISE and the Telegraph in 2016.

Will Cleverly, projects director at OWC, says: “Kathrine’s experience as a project manager, team lead, and structural engineer will enhance our delivery capabilities and ensure we continue to add value for our clients.  This is an exciting year for OWC and we are very pleased Katherine has decided to join us”.
