OWC chairs panel on offshore wind finance at WIND 2018

Offshore Wind Consultant’s (OWC) John MacAskill is to chair WIND 2018’s panel discussion titled ‘Financing and developing European offshore wind energy market’ at the annual flagship conference organised by The Voice of Renewables.

Wind Energy Investment & Development Europe 2018 or WIND 2018, is developed to explore ‘game changers’ that can potentially disrupt the European wind energy market in the future.

John MacAskill, a director of OWC is chairing a panel which includes senior executives from Green Giraffe, Van Oord, NN Investment Partners and Deutsche Bank. Of particular interest will be the panel’s reaction to the risks zero subsidy projects have to debt finance as we exit a world of ‘cheap money’.
