OWC donates laptops and IT equipment to London charity

The OWC London team generously donated a significant number of laptops to the CEO (Construction and Engineering Opportunities) Charity. The CEO Charity is an educational community interest company specialising in supporting young people aged 13-25, working to educate and enlighten those on the programme about the diverse range of jobs that are available within the construction and engineering industry.

The organization has highlighted that one of the biggest challenges as a company is funding essential resources that will benefit the young people they work with. OWC’s donation will help give each student access to their own laptop so they can work individually and be able to push themselves beyond sessions. The photo above shows a small group of the Charity’s Keys Stage 4 students in a session becoming familiar with the laptops.

“OWC are delighted to have been able to support The CEO Charity. Training and supporting the next generation of engineers is right at the heart of what we do at OWC as is a just transition – making The CEO Charity a great fit as a charity partner for OWC. We look forward to hearing about the success of the CEO students in the years to come!” – Katherine Phillips, Managing Director, OWC

We couldn’t be more excited to get involved and help these students as well as the overall charity. ABL and OWC will continue to donate laptops and IT equipment to the amazing charity and we look forward to hearing about the future successes of the CEO Students!
